I've never been very organized or thought much about a will. But while taking care of my friend's pets, I realized that if something were to happen to her who would be there to take care of them. Very often it's the older pets who lose their owners. During this sad time, many of them will end up in animal shelters. Upon pondering this, I made the decision to put my pup in my living will, so that I know she'll be taken care of and not sent to a shelter. Please remember your pet in your will. Also please donate to Old Dog Haven and organizations like them who save the lives of these wonderful much loved pets whose owners didn't plan ahead.
