GIVING THANKS, THANKS FOR GIVING!

Recently I came across this quote from one of my favorite actors, Denzel Washington.
He said, "At the end of the day it's not about what you have or even what you've accomplished....It's about who you've lifted up, who you've made better. It's about what you have given back."

This is one of my fundamental ideas to live by. The longer I live, the more powerful this guideline for living becomes to me.

This has been a wonderful personal adventure for me being one of the artists at ART HELPING ANIMALS.
I have learned so much about how to use some of my artistic skills to good purpose and have never felt so inspired by the artists I commune with, working as a creative force helping homeless animals waiting for their "forever homes."
For some of the seniors in shelter and rescue care our fundraising efforts have helped to provide some comfort in their last days.
Something new we are doing at ART HELPING ANIMALS is to sponsor an animal in rescue or living in sanctuaries.
Actually, some of the artists have been doing this quietly on their own, now we are adding this feature to the AHA site to help make SPONSORSHIP an option for those who may want to do the same.
There are many ways to help these innocent "best friends" who are often tossed away, left aside, left behind, or are brought to shelters as their owner's can no longer care for them due to illness or age.

Things You Can do:
Visit the www.ArtHelpingAnimals.com site for lots of info on how you can help.
Visit your local shelter or rescue.
Shop for the animal lovers on your HOLIDAY LIST for gifts that will give back to animals in need.
Every little bit helps. Every animal that receives the help lives to get another day to find that home!

Thanks to ALL who support homeless animals and those in need.
