Saying Good-bye to MAUDE

WILLING HEARTS DALMATIAN RESCUE recently sent the sad news of the passing of one of their rescued senior dalmatians. It is always so sad to lose one of these wonderful and sweet rescues...BUT...let me share the story.

Maude was rescued from a PA shelter after WILLING HEARTS got the call to see if they could try to help her. The shelter would euthanize her there and then if she was beyond help.
She was found in terrible shape, especially the infection in her mouth and her skin...they could NOT leave her behind.
Maude was taken in and given vet care and was found to be sweet and loving and spent the last five months of her life KNOWING kindness and care and love.

This news came to us 2 days ago from the Rescue:
Maude came down with bloat and we had to send her to the bridge. It was a terribly difficult thing to do but she was going down fast and was going to suffer. She was a loving girl and we loved her while she was with us.

MAUDE knew LOVE.
...and THAT is the foundation of WILLING HEARTS DALMATIAN RESCUE. They tend to the worst of the needy. They give love and care to the saddest, abandoned, neglected and abused!

Willing Hearts is an all volunteer rescue and donations are how they pay the bills for VET care for these poor animals. Donations buy these Dals some time and love.
Have a heart, view their site, give a little...Please.
