That time is here to reflect on the blessings and be grateful for surviving the challenges that life has handed each of us this past year.
The supermarkets make it easy to drop off food items that will be distributed to the needy through the Salvation Army and other helping organizations.
We (hopefully) will get the time to be with family and friends and enjoy the day with food, laughter, love and... football, pie and naps, or whatever the tradition is that you share with your loved ones.
Take a moment to remember those away from home, our service men and women, those who need our prayers and those we have lost.
Savor the memories of past Thanksgivings and joyful times.
